Even though there are no objections regarding the potential value of mobile advertising, the majority of advertisers in Korea are reluctant to embrace it aggressively, and with the small-size of almost all developers, they still do not have meaningful revenue from mobile advertising.

In this panel discussion, industry observers and platform vendors will do a reality-check on the present situation for mobile advertising in Korea, and will discuss ideas for breakthroughs to obtain high ROI (Return on Investment) for advertisers and generating a more effective monetizing method for developers.

MoMo Seoul – Nov. 7th – Mobile Advertising

How Can All Players Win in the High-flying Era of Mobile Ad?

Register Now

Along with the boom in smartphones and tablets, mobile advertising is soaring high beyond our expectations.

According to Gartner, global mobile-advertising revenue is forecast to reach $3.3 billion in 2011, more than double the $1.6 billion generated in 2010. Another research firm, Global Industry Analysts (GIA), recently projected that the global market for mobile advertising will reach $32 billion by 2017.

To hop on and ride this “Mobile Ad” bandwagon, we need to more accurately understand the direction of the mobile ad industry, and a clearer perspective, needless to say, would be helpful.

Thus, at the next Mobile Monday Seoul, the 14th event since 2009, industry observers and the main players in the mobile ad field, both locally and globally, will share their insights and know-how with us.
