MoMo Munich – 19 March – Launching Facebook Mobile Apps

Already today Facebook integrates nicely mobile apps. From its mobile website and the Facebook app (Android and iOS) you can launch connected apps. Facebook is about to become the new marketplace for apps offering a completely new app discovery experience – an important advantage in a crowded marketplace.

Facebook will allow for a new class of apps: apps that integrate Facebook’s social experience from the web and go beyond that by adding popular feature from the mobile like places, mobile payments. More social apps offer more ways to keep users returning to your app. Will Facebook foster a new generation of apps and games?

On top of that Facebook is driving the HTML5 API development. It sure looks like this will be an important year for HTML5, for you and the rest of the mobile ecosystem :)
